Yup---I agree with the Hornady's for many options. I currently use their 270 & 225 grns for practice and for smaller game like deer & pigs. I use 69 grns. of H4895 for both giving 2600+ fps & 2700+ fps repectively with mild pressure. But, while the Hornady 270 would probably be plenty effective, when I spend a bunch of money on hunts of a lifetime for premium game such as large Alaska game or African plains game, a dollar a bullet is cheap peace-of-mind. So I think premium bullets for premium game is a good idea. I'm currently leaning toward the Swift A-Frame or Northforks over the Barnes TSX because of somwhat more shock and upset, albiet with less penetration which the Barnes probably wins with. I think the TSX's better in a 300gr weight for the heavy dangerous types. When I build a load for these I will probably go with the deeper penetration capabilites of the TSX's
