I shot some test loads in my new 45-70 guide gun yesterday. I was thinking about an aftermarket butt pad anyway, now I'm convinced I should get one. I'm looking for input on limbsaver and decelerator pads. Are they comparable as far as reducing felt recoil? I saw on some posts here that pre-fit decelerators could use some fitting anyway. Do the pre-fit limbsavers fit well? I'm leaning toward a limbsaver just because I've already found a pre-fit locally. Who prefers which and why? Thanks, Karluk |
