K-80 is right on line. I HAD a Ruger #3 in 45/70. Sold it after the first trip to the range. I hope the new owner loves it, I did NOT. A load with a 525 grain cast gas checked bullet over H-322 was WAY too much fun for me. Knocked off my glasses, gave me a scope cut and just plain hurt like hell. I'll never miss that thing. I own several biggie Ruger #1s, 416 Ribgy, 375 H&H, 458 Lott, and none of them kick anything like that little #3 did. |
