I have a Hart barrelled Winchester Model 70 in .220 Swift which the previous now departed owned named "Old Thor" because of the thunderbolt like effect it produced on crows and groundhogs. My McMillan stocked Schneider barrelled .308 pre-war Model 70 target rifle is called "Black Beauty" because of the beautiful scores she has shot for me at 300 and 600 yards.
