Yesterday in North Dallas, Texas, a 5700 sq ft home was destroyed by fire. The owner was not at home, and lost his trophy room, along with the rest of his home! When the news folks interviewed him, he said: "I am particularly upset by the loss of the #3 Cape Buffalo in the world trophy. This is something I can't replace!"

I hope he had a fireproof gun vault!

It seems one of the fire fighters was a hunter, and quickly piled most of the trophies in the middle of a large room, and covered them with plastic sheet. Very little damage! I think that fireman deserves a paid for hunt some place ! The owner of the home was Jack Brumbalow, and the Buff was the #3 SCI record in the world! The home sustained $650,000 in damage!
