I think a Winchester 70 would be a great 375 H&H DG rifle.

A CZ would be much cheaper but possibly not as reliable out of the box.

You shouldn't have problems with resale on a Winchester unless the rifle was abused.A pre 64 375 H&H will probably go up in value while you own it!!

If you wish a great deal then look a some of the custom actioned mausers rifles on the Gun Auction sites.Some nice 375's will go for 50 cents on the dollar,but there is a chance you may get a lemon.

The nice think about a 375 is you know the barrel won't be shot out. The usual problem is resale cause not too many average hunters are hot for that caliber gun or headed for Africa.
