I am no gunplumber but those that I trust all claim that, aside from the action cutting required on standard M-98 actions, getting the Lott rounds to correctly feed can be a problem. It can be done but if you insist on using a standard Mauser there is, contrary to "popular US opinion", nothing wrong with the standard 458WM. If you want a Lott I think your M-70 can be better modified to handle it.
