I had one problem a couple of years ago, when hunting with Riaan. Not sure what caused it. Weather was cool. I was shooting at a Gemsbok and missed an easy shot (softs).

Tried to cycle the bolt and it was stuck. Ended up having to whack on the bolt handle and then tap the case out with a cleaning rod. Primer was blown and such.

I'm sure it wasn't the load but something else as I've used the load a whole bunch over past several years. It was only one round. Shot it a few times to test it. Worked fine with other rounds out of the same batch.

I weight all my charges. The only thing that I can think of is that I threw a charge into a shell, then emptied it for some reason and didn't get all the powder out. Then loaded it up with a full charge.
