I think the 40 cal will probably die on the vine but that same cartridge with a 416 bullet would be interesting.

With a bigger hull the pressure should be lower at the samevelocity than the 416 Rem.Unfortunately to get hunter attention they would have to load it at least 100 fps faster to get a desirable rep.Marketing is a funny thing---
