I had been considering Serengeti because I didn’t think I could get any other walnut laminates, especially not locally. It was a nice surprise to find Geoff is just starting to offer these. They are made in Australia from Australian grown walnut. The blanks I saw were 10 ply laminates. For me, they offer very good value compared to what Serengeti quoted for a stock build.

As I have several Zastavas and a Hein action, all in left hand, there are not a lot of stock options available in fibreglass. I want the wood look though, so the laminates should work well. I think they would only be second-best to synthetic in the very wettest of climates
