Glad to see you getting back to yourself. I have a ruger #1 in 458 lott and a ruger m77 in 458 lott. I have not shot them tons but they are both good shooters. The #1 weighs in at 9 lbs-2 oz, and the m77 weighs in at 9 lbs-9 oz. Not a lot of difference in weight but I think the recoil felt is a lot different. The # 1 kicks a lot more than the m77 does, at least in my opinion. I really like both guns though.
