1-18 twist is way too slow and will negatively influence penetration because the bullet, while stable in air, will quicly destabilize within an animal. The old 460 wby rifles had a 1-18 twist and penetration was worse than a 458 win mag. I suggest 1-10 or 1-12 twist.
