I don't crimp any of my reloads including 500Jeffrey, 505 Gibbs but
if you don't crimp, try to make sure your sizing die is on the small size
so it keeps a good amount of neck tension.

Also, if out in the field walking and shooting, keep a check on the tip
of the last 2 bullets in the magazine to make sure they are not getting
battered under recoil AND that the bullet isn't being pushed in.




I've had a lot of problems with the projectiles coming "loose" under recoil in the magazine when not crimped. A reason for some unexplained misses on easy shots or at least an excuse perhaps.

I usually do not crimp, but double check the 'tightness' of every projectile when reloading and also when emptying the magazine from time to time.
