If I can lay my hands on a desirable and sharp looking rifle I agree

I love my 375 H&H for bear hunting. Its a blast!

I have been known to have up to four! 7 mm Mag in the past( I now have one!) cause I liked the guns or traded (the worst disease a rifleman can have).I have special purpose long range scopes and wood blanks but no rifle action due to this particular disease!!

At one point I considered a long range elk round from a 378 WBY. Having no large bolt action available I was going to rebarrel and redo a Winchester action to a 375 ultra shooting a 270 gr bullet at 2900 fps.Still may do that as I limit shooting 338 mag is to about 350 yards and then game is always on a ridge 450 yds away.With the large kill zone of a bull elk you can do it.

Is this true hunting? NO, but the shooting is a technical challenge to do it right.
