I agree with mrlexma.

The 458 Lott does the same with more rounds available at the closer distances you use these rifles with the same cross sectional "whack area" and less penetration risk to other animals.

If you feel comfortable with that much gun you may want to consider moving up to a 500 class bolt like a 500 Jeffery/AHR/A Square or 505 Gibbs.I think the animals will notice the difference!!
