Re: Whitworth Factory Muzzle Brake???

I know the muzzle brakes I installed on the whitworths were after market and not Factory. We supplied the knurled thread protector along with the installing the brekes on those guns

But what would you call the ones from Weatherby. They would ship us stock that had not been sold yet and we would install brakes and send them back to Weatherby. They then cataloged the gun with muzzle brake. Later we set them up to do there own.

The muzzle brake is a very useful device. Put one on your heavy barrel 22-250 and it will hold the muzzle down and let you see prairie dogs explode when you use high magnification scopes.

Probably the best use how ever was that they generated income by which the boss was able to pay me and I could buy beans.

Can't think of any other good use fo them.

Mac you get with that treatment and get back in the field, it ain't time yet!!!!
