Tinker, we can get hydrostatic shock from virtually any loading, in any caliber, where I live. It's so darn humid that the high moisture level in the air creates the shock wave just from the heaviness in the air. Have you ever seen videos taken from the air, of an atom bomb explosion, you know, where you just see the shock waves ripple out on the grouond and through the air? Well, out here, when a bullet enters the thick, dense, humid air, that same kind of shock wave happens. I know. It's kind of hard to believe, but it's true.
