You have to try to make it to one of the Double Rifle Shooter's Society hunts in Texas.

We are a bunch of guys to have DR who get together over a long weekend (Friday to Sunday) to shoot each other's DRs, drink, hunt, eat, lie, shoot, eat, hunt...you get the picture.

It is a GREAT time!!!!

We usually hunt hogs in Texas, but hunting is secondary to the shooting and talking about DRs - and drinking fine single malt scotch.

The cost ain't bad, either. I think the last hunt we did, with the cost of round trip airfare from Washington DC to Dallas, the cost of a rental car (which was shared with jjs), the cost to hunt, and food kitty, it was less that $1000.00 for a GREAT weekend.
