The stock I got didn't have the fishscale checkering. Maybe that is the lower cost answer to improving the checkering.

Its out of my league when it comes to answering whether the stock will be fine w/o the recoil lug. I would be inclined to go with whichever route you really want, the refinish or the Accurate Innovations. I don't think Ben there would steer you wrong.

You remind me that I need to call him. The stock they sent me was standard length but was suposed to be longer. He is suposed to be replacing it.
