I have Talleys on my 550 9.3X62. They are superior to the factory rings in every way IMHO. I think the factory rings that came with my rifle look like crap, and look totally out of place, when compared to the fairly nicely finished metal of the rifle itself. I belive the Talley's would withstand the recoil of a Lott, whether or not a scope will, is another matter

A 2-1/2X Leupold might make it.
