In regards to the 2400fps with 500gr bullet, it seems a little questionable to me as far as having a decent reasoning to its justification. There comes a point, from my understanding anyway, where velocity starts giving diminishing returns on its effect with larger bullets. Point being the .460 Weatherby vs. say one of the .450 Nitro Expresses. Seems to be for paper punching chronographing to develope velocity induced muzzle energy bragging rights or beyond sane shooting distances is all. It would be interesting for shoulder abuse and back readjustment theropy, but if I were to take it on game, I personally would want the bullet flying as close to the velocity as it was originally intended to be used at (.470NE levels of 2150fps in this case). At 2283fps and 49,000PSI, Any Shot's loading makes me wonder. Could you load it down anymore, or would you start encountering lower loading pressure spikes? 500grains, you have a pm as well. Thank you again. |
