Hey guys, thanks for the advice. I can't make up my mind what to buy. But half the fun is trying to make a choice. I'm not a handloader, but I may have to become one if I really want a .404. The only ammo I can find is custom loaded stuff and it is a bit pricey. If I look at ammo costs, the .416 remington would be the logical and practical choice. I don't want to go to a .458 wm or .458 lott, I think that would be way too much recoil.
