Thanks Alan, glad you like it..... the barrel is 20 inches and has a red fibre optic foresight which is quite simply fabulous - esp in low light.

The rifle & I had 3 especially exciting moments this season. One was a charging (wounded) Buffalo which we dropped at 7 yards another was a charging (wounded) Leopard which we stopped at 6 yards and the other was a wounded/dying Lion which I shot at 20 yards. The Lion wasn't charging as such. The client had hit it in the heart but asked me to shoot on report as it was so close to camp...... The Lion jumped straight up in the air at the clients shot and I hit him just under his left eye when he was at the top of his bounce...... by the time he hit the ground, he was as dead as charity......
