I'll post pictures of it next week or so. It probably does have collectors value and chambering it would drop that alot... Maybe I should mull it over more. I'd like to be able to load it up so it's a medium hot load for a 45-70. 405 gr @1600 fps or so would be good. I will have to add to my library and get the "British Single Shot Rifle" Vol 4. I heard it has some load data for this cartridge.
I don't know alot about British rifles. I have a John Lyell 500 BPE double and an Alexander Henry S.S. 450 NE and this Westley Richards.
It's a long time til next moose season.. Lot's of time to think it over.
