I agree that if cost is an issue, it's better to stay with the 45 caliber. Bullets are a lot cheaper. I have this one and love it. It was a 375 that was rebarrelled to 500 Nitro Express 3 1/4" and it is just too much fun! It will cost you at least 1000 bucks to rebarrel, depending on options you want like quarter rib, sights, etc...plus brass, dies, bullets...it is a lot cheaper to simply rechamber to something like the previous posters have said. ![]() Cast bullets are a lot cheaper to shoot no matter what you're shooting...so check them out when you decide what to do.
