Gibbs505, the .585 Nyati was developed my Mr. Ross Seyfried. The 577 Tyrannosaur was developed by Mr. Art Alphin of A-Square. They are indeed different cartridges which start from different cases entirely. But they use the same bullet. Kind of like 30-06 versus 300 win mag.
