I use a custom .450 Rigby Rimless magnum on a double square bridge Mauser-copy (Vektor) action. If doing a plainsgame only hunt in bushveld, my 9.3x64 on a 98 Mauser action (also custom) get the nod. In Namibia I use my 8x68 (also custom rifle on M98 action) almost exclusively. The 2 rifles that I normally borrow to clients are my 9.3 and a 7x64.

I am happy with any properly functional rifle, but prefer controlled feed actions on DG hunts. Personally, I get a bit envious if a client hunts with a double....
