I have owned two 425 rifles built by Westley Richards before WW II and they were super guns. I wish I would have kept one of them but I didn't. The old rifles are available but as usual they can be on the expensive side. They can be had for 5500.00 and up depending on how bad the guy wants to sell it. They ( Westley Richards) built two different versions, the first was a deluxe that was built on a 98 Mauser and had slots machined with into the rear portion of the receiver to facilitate proper feeding and it worked very well. The second version was built on an FN action and did not have the slots which caused unreliable feeding. Avoid this one like the plague!
