UPDATE .... RANGE REPORT .... I bought some Commercial Custom Loaded ammo w/ 200g bullets and went to the range. I was very disappointed as to how conservative the load was. Velocity was about the same as 35 Remington, and much less than 350 Rem Mag. I am sure my hand-loads will do much better. Powder in the Custom ammo was 71.4 grains and appeared to be IMR4350. PO Ackley published max load for IMR4350 powder is 89 grains with a 250g bullet, and likely much more for a 200g bullet. And ... the real surprise came when I looked at a fired case. The rifle was not marked as to caliber, and was advertised as a 350 Mashburn Super Mag. Turns out the rifle's caliber is actually .. 350 Mashburn Super Mad "Improved". Future handloads should make this a real 35 caliber screamer. http://www.buckstix.com/buckpics/350MASH-TARG-1.jpg
