I have the Safari Magnum in 404J, the wood is rather plain so it must have been changed out somewhere along the line as the magazine box was marked 458 - yes it had a feed issue but that's a tale for another day!
It works for me, not from a fancy stable, like claydog's, (wouldn't that be nice though!) she's a plain workhorse with 5 down & 1 in the chamber if need be!
Then again that's what the 404 really was all about - a no nonsense workhorse!
My only wish, she had my ZKK600 peep on her!
