the rifle at one point was finished. it had crappy sights, (think base model single shot 22 rimfire) and it just didn't feel like i wanted it too. but its functioned and i fired a few hundred rounds thought it.

the recoil isn't that bad, although i would only shoot it free hand and standing. on a bench this would hurt quite a bit. I'm a lighter guy so the rifle just moved me out of the way.

i did machine the feed rails to work as a single stack mag. i can load form the bottom or i can load from the top as if i was loading a single stack mag. i added a video of loading it when its was a 2+1. now that it is a 4 +1 it ca be loaded the same way. if i need more then 5 shots i have bigger issues lol. the follower is a modified 3006 follower.. it takes a lot of room to fit 4 in the mag.

i also added a little video of me shooting it after i function tested with a string (march 2022). i didn't have the sights on it it yet and i was just trying to test function/ and get a feel for it.

when it was first assembled i fired it with oiled cases via a string, to check for issues and to make sure the stock would hold up.
