I've been working a 500 Jeffery build for a new years now on and off. i thought i had it done once already but then decided to change it up a bit the more i shot it.

the first time it was finished it had a mill surplus cut down stock and a 2 round single stack mag. the more i looked at it the less i liked the p14 stock and the fact it has a huge floor plate for such a small round count bugged me too.

so now the rifle has a bigger mag box and will hold 4 in the mag with 1 in the chamber and its in the process of being put in to a walnut sporter stock.

the barrel is 18.5" long and it weighted 8 pounds before i started switching the stock. it very well could weight closer to 8.5 pounds when done.
