Information about recoil resistance of Aimpoint red dot devices:
On an Heym Express repeating rifle (like Mauser Magnum system size) in .600 Nitro Express an Aimpoint "Hunter" model H34L red dot was mounted via an EAW swing mount.
The gunsmith told me that he and his colleague tested the rifle with about 12-15 shots for adjusting it for a center hit at 50 meters distance with full power factory ammunition / 900grs bullets.
The aimpoint enabled all hits if the shooter was upto the task...
