A lighter load, about 2900fps hits in same POI as the 235 Speers. They certainly did a lot of damage to goats and were pretty manageable to shoot.
I also have a faster 3100fps load which I will try on smaller game but expect that penetration wont be great. They only hit marginally higher than all my other 235, 270, 300gn loads so I will keep some handy to try when the opportunity (rabbit or cat) arises.
Sounds like a good practice round. If you can hit rabbits, an impala, zebra or buffalo will be easy.
