My first ZKK602 BRNO was a .358 Norma Mag, which was useed almost exclusively on coyotes on a far near Smithers, B.C. : After transfering south, I used it with cast bullets for 3-position competition, then re-bareled with a brand new .375H&H barrel. This one was also used with cast bullets in the same competition circuit until I built up a full-bore match rifle in .308Win. : Both the .358 and .375 barrels were 3/4 MOA rounds with those light squib loads and WW bullets using the rifle's pop-up peep sight. : After selling the .375BRNO to an Island lad, he reported that it was death on the small Vancouver Island black-tails and black bear with my recommended load of 68gr. 4064 and the 270gr. Win PP. No- that isn't a high velocity load, but makes tiny cloverleafs for groups & kills like the hammer of Thor. |
