I'm not big on using the bigger bores or even medium bores on small game. Rabbits can be practice however.
I'd prefer feral goats, pigs and roos on destruction permits for big bores.
I used my Big Bores to shoot smaller game just because I only had this weapon on hand. These are all game shot as part of big game hunts. Otherwise, I use the more or less suitable weapon and cartridge for each game species.
