I took 5 years, but I finally scored a Wisconsin Whitetail with my 700 Nitro Express.
It was hard to get to within 75 yards and shoot standing.
I hand-loaded a reduced load to 1,550 fps with a 1000g Woodleigh. (2,000 fps is a full-load)
The recovered bullet weighed 975g and expanded to nearly 2 inches.
