I bet the .400 H&H Mag lasts longer than the .416 Rem Mag!

Why?

Because only if they make them and at their prices they will remain profitable no matter how many they make per year.

Personally I prefer the older more sloping designs as I prefer easier extraction and perhaps lower pressures over squeezing the last few fps out of the case.
