Due to the economy I have had to postpone my Cape buffalo hunt a Year.

So what do I do in the mean time with my Ruger No. 1 in 450/400 3" NE. I shot a doe whitetail with Hornady 400 grs. DGX bullets. I like how that bullet performed on deer, but that shot told me I think I need a better bullet for cape buffalo.

Oklahoma Whitetail Does are pretty bad ass. The shot knocked her to her knees and she got up and ran off.

Okay she only ran about 40 yards, shot through he heart.
