VLADMIR Congratulations on your new 458. I think the 458 is the best caliber for a persons first big bore as they are so versatile. Try the 350, grain Hornady RN at any velocity from 1800 to 2300 fps. [pick the recoil level you like] and use it to hunt deer, wild pigs, and black bear. The 458 with 400,450,or 500 grain bullets is a great brown bear, moose, and elk rifle in the thick. The Browning is a Classic. Keep us posted on how she shoots. If you fit a scope use good quality QD mounts so you can do some hunting with iron sights, really ads to the fun. [pollstop] |
