Oh yeah - forgot about neck length. Makes sense.

I used the sizer die for my 6.5x68 as a crimping die for my .50/70 Sharps (to help ignition as well as hold the bullet in a non-sized cased).
I don't think the shoulder would be in the way as the case did not enter the die's base very far.
