Thought that I'd show photo progress of my .500 Jeffery build. I'm not personally doing it a gunsmith is. Started with a Sarco Mauser action, Swift bottom metal, a .458 follower and a Douglas .500 barrel 26" contoured Remington 5a I believe.

action and barrel mated for the first time. Threads were sloppy so had to cut and rethread. Barrel now 25.25".
