Thanks for the Info. If you dn't mind sanding wood, you should look into restocking your husky and getting the syle of stock you like. Richards Microfit is on the web and is the only one I found that inlets a stock for a Husqvarna.

I have send stock blanks I bought to them to have them shaped but their stock wood choices are fine also. It's a great winter project(I've done 2 and have 3 others in line not counting the Husqvarna.) and is not too tough at all.

Mine has a curved, inletted metal butt plate. It is maybe older than yours or just different. I really appreciate the feedback.
