That would be a good idea but I don't believe the brother would fall for that.
The reason why it wasn't shot but only a few times was because all the other rifles that my friend Charles had were several thousand dollar benchrest rifles, I know Lilja built some of his as they were friends and some other makers also.
AS far as value of the rifle I would say his brother Jim knows fairly close
