Baised on my success with the 9,3x74R in my Chapuis Double, in a bolt rifle I would go with the 9,3x62.

Also for a low recoil "thumper" for 200 yard and in hunting a 10.75x68 would be a good choice.
I have shot deer, pigs, black bear and caribou with my 450/400 double with excellent results.
