I've owned about 5-6 375's over the years and found that the belt would catch only if you're sloppy at not pushing back the round to rear of the magazine box. It only takes one motion, put round in and push back. Once everyting is compressed together in the magazine box, they've never snagged on me. Now, the 375 Ultra is a whole new ball game. I've not done much in the load development with mine as yet since Remmy ammo has been so cheap at my toystore (dealer cost). Got to tell you, though, recoil is right behind my 416 Rigby and that's with no brakes. There's still plenty of tweaking to do.
