The only reason I mentioned the Howdahs was for a potential name for the beastmaster...come to think of it, "Beastmaster" sounds like a suitable name.

Personally I'm sticking to my comfortable to shoot single action revolvers from Freedom Arms and Ruger, even though I plan to sell all of the remaining Rugers soon to pay for one more Freedom Arms revolver.

Still...if I had a useful right elbow I would consider something larger...maybe up to the level of a .500 Linebaugh.

If trying a pistol in .600 NE I'd be wearing a thick and heavy padded World War 2 flak jacket as issued to bomber crews, none of the thin kevlar bulletproof vest type, and would be wearing it on my head over a football helmet and would definitely leave the muzzle break in place and likely would wimp out before squeezing the trigger.
