Jurras Howdah vs. .600 Nitro Express

Richard,
I have fired all the calibers you mentioned, and many more.

Also, none of the Jurras Howdah pistols (unless custom ordered to be different) had muzzle brakes. My SSK/ Encore .50-140 Sharps has a muzzle brake which is NOT removable, so I don't know what the recoil would be without compensation.
My Van Horne / Encore .600 Nitro express DOES have a removable brake. Depending on my initial experience shooting the .600, will determine whether or not the brake stays on for the next shot.

Although not as terrifying, the only pistol to injure me was a .45-70 Gov't derringer (3" barrel). The hammer came back and cut my hand between thumb and index finger.
