I spent a great deal of my early teen years reading G&A, and Jeff Cooper’s articles were one of my most favourite reads! I also became captivated by Capstick through his occasional short articles printed in the pages of G&A. I admired Mr Cooper’s bent toward the pragmatic, although I don’t know that I am entirely smitten with his view of the perfect rifle.
