The weight is something I like as well...... I LOVE light weight rifles when I’m carrying them in the field, but the love doesn’t extend to the bench where recoil can get rather sporty...... In the huntig fields, a rifle is carried an awful lot more than it is shot.
Well done Rell.... That is a lovely rifle. The stock shape looks good as well and should assist in taming the recoil.
Agree--nice looking "working" rifle..for me personally, only use synthetic anymore unless headed to Africa and its more arid regions...
As to the torque, HS Precision suggests the torque to be 65 inch lbs ..which is what I have used on most of my rifles since 2001..based on HS's reputation, figure they have it figured out..
